Construction:

Bass / mid: Aluminuim coated Glassfibre cone with butyl rubber surround driven by a 2-layer voice coil wound on 1" aluminium former. The magnet assembly is vented to assist VC cooling.
The chassis is made from a non resonant mineral filled resin.
Centre dome is acoustically transparent fabric to allow HF from centre of cone through.
Centre magnet pole is Copper Clad to give smooth and extended midrange response.

Tweeter: Coated silk fabric is used for the tweeter dome. This is driven by a ferrofluid damped coil.

Crossover: The crossover feeds the tweeter via a RIFA polypropylene capacitor for excellent treble clarity.
The midbass is rolled off at 6dB/ octave, and the tweeter at 12dB/octave.
The tweeter is protected by a polyswitch device.
This case is in aluminium to dissipate any heat generated by the network, and to provide both shielding and cosmetic integration.

Installation: The shallow mounting depth of the tweeter allows easy installation in kick panels.

The midbass is suitable for small enclosure mounting, but also gives good results in free air applications.
